Rahul Gandhi Congress Leader Controversial Statement

Rahul Gandhi Congress Leader

He stated at Georgetown University that “politics in India has fundamentally changed” these days.
Rahul Gandhi, the former president of the grand old party, claims that the Congress “destroyed” prime minister Narendra Modi’s “idea” in the most recent Lok Sabha elections.

The Congress party has a design aspect that dates back to Mahatma Gandhi’s day and possesses some extremely potent political organisational characteristics. While I was watching the elections, the treasurer sat us down and informed us that your bank accounts were frozen. You can’t fight an election if your accounts are locked, right? At the time, we genuinely had no answers. Gandhi stated at Georgetown University in Washington.

Nevertheless, the Congress Party fought the election and effectively dismantled Modi’s concept. This is evident by seeing the prime minister in Parliament right now. He’s imprisoned mentally. On his first trip to the US as the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rae Bareli MP continued, “He is psychologically trapped and cannot come to terms with it.”

“Politics in India has fundamentally changed,” he continued. Gandhi was most likely alluding to the numerous “U-turns” that the BJP, which is currently in power, has made to maintain its one-party majority in the Lok Sabha, where it currently has 240 members out of 543 seats, down from 282 seats in 2014 and 303 seats five years later.

Conversely, the Congress increased its total by about 50%, from 52 to 99 in 2019. This meant that Gandhi would become the formal Leader of Opposition for the first time in ten years.

India – US are ‘two great union of states’ – Rahul Gandhi

The Congress MP stated at a Washington, DC, event that the Indian diaspora in the US serves as the “bridge between these two great unions.”
As part of his continuing visit to the US, Rahul Gandhi once again referred to India as a “union of states,” which could spark problems back home.

Gandhi said this on Monday (local time) during an event in the Washington, DC, metro region. There, he claimed that the Indian diaspora in the US has “two identities”: American and Indian.

He stated, “They (the diaspora) can transfer the ideas back and forth,” as reported by ANI.

“You serve as the link between these two outstanding unions. Furthermore, we are really proud of you as we know how much coming here meant to you. We are aware of the challenges and hardships you have experienced. However, you arrived here with love, respect, and humility. You did not state that you despise the United States or that it is less than us. The Congress MP continued, “You are proud of both India and the United States.”

On his first trip to the United States as Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, India’s Lower House of Parliament, the former head of Congress is visiting the country informally.

It is stated rather plainly in the Constitution: “India, which is Bharat, is a union of states.” It refers to the blending of languages, customs, histories, dance, or music,” he said.

Gandhi further charged that the RSS regarded some states and communities as “inferior” to others.

Will there be an India where people are free to believe whatever they want? or one in which a select few determine what will occur?” He enquired.
