GATE Registration 2025: The official website of IIT Roorkee has been updated with crucial dates and application fees. The new date for the online GATE registration for 2025 is August 28, 2025. None of the other significant GATE dates, however, have been altered. The extended deadline for GATE 2025 registration with late fees is October 7, 2025. The GATE 2025 application form deadline is still September 26, 2025.
GATE 2025 Registration
At @gate2025.iitr.ac.in, candidates can verify the GATE exam date for 2025. The exam dates for GATE 2025 are February 1, 2, 15, and 16. The official website has also revealed the date of the GATE 2025 Result. On March 19, 2025, the GATE 2025 Result will be made public.
The GATE 2025 website has been launched by IIT Roorkee, and the information brochure will be published shortly. In order to be considered for admission through the GATE 2025 exam, candidates must review the eligibility requirements, application costs, and other pertinent details prior to completing the GATE 2025 application.

GATE Registration 2025 – How to Register and Apply?
The GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) registration process for GATE 2025 is required of candidates. In order to create an enrolment ID, you must enter your name, email address, and mobile number. Candidates must also create a password for future access to the login.

- Step 1: Use an up-to-date browser with dependable internet connectivity to access IIT Roorkee’s official website, www.iitr.ac.in.
- Step 2: Click the link on the homepage to access the GATE 2025 Online Application Processing System (GOAPS).
- Step 3: Choose “Login” and then “Register” to start the registration process.
- Step 4: Enter the applicant’s name, address, phone number, email address, and password, among other necessary information.
- Step 5: To generate an OTP and send it to the applicant’s registered mobile number, click “Submit.”
- Step 6: To generate the GATE credentials, enter the OTP correctly.
- Step 7: Applicants will receive a unique enrolment ID upon successful registration. It is recommended that you store this ID for later use.
Gate Registration 2025 – List of Documents
To ensure a successful GATE Registration 2025 process, applicants are highly advised to keep the following documents handy while filling out the application form:
- Applicants details, including name, date of birth, personal mobile number, parent’s name, parent’s mobile number, etc. The applicant’s name must match the 10th certificate and a valid ID proof.
- Communication address along with the pin code.
- Details of the eligibility degree.
- College name and address with PIN code.
- GATE paper(s) (subject).
- Selection of four GATE examination cities.
- A high-quality image of the candidate’s photograph meeting specified requirements.
- A good-quality image of the candidate’s signature meeting specified requirements.
- Scanned copy of the category (SC/ST) certificate (if applicable) in PDF format.
- A scanned copy of the PwD certificate (if applicable) is in PDF format.
- Scanned copy of the Certificate of Dyslexia (if applicable) in PDF format.
- Details of the valid photo identity document (ID).
- Net-banking/debit card/credit card/UPI details for fee payment.
Gate 2025 Registration Fees
Although, application fees for GATE 2025 are now available at IIT Roorkee. The paid application cost is non-transferable and non-refundable, which candidates must be aware of. Therefore, applicants may use one of the available payment methods, such as UPI, net banking, debit cards, credit cards, or e-wallets, to pay the application cost. Hence, there may be extra bank fees associated with the fee payment, based on current practices.
