Finally, the Redmi A4 5G is available in India. The company charged Rs 8,499 for the entry-level smartphone when it first came out. Redmi A4 5G: Price and Availability
Today, Redmi released the Redmi A4 5G in India, with a starting price of Rs 8,499 in the country. It costs Rs 8,499 for the 4GB + 64GB version and Rs 9,499 for the 4GB + 128GB version. Beginning at 12 PM on November 27, the phone will be sold on Amazon, Mi.com, and Xioami retail locations. Sparkle Purple and Starry Black are the two colour options available.
Redmi A4 5G: Specs and features
The phone’s shape and display are similar to the Redmi A3 (4G), except it features a circular, glossy camera module on the back. The power and volume buttons are on the right side of its flat frame. The A4 model has a fingerprint sensor built into the power button, just like the A3 model. On the upper side of the phone is a 3.5mm headphone connector. The Redmi A4 5G has a halo glass back design that looks high-end.
It offers a fluid and seamless viewing experience with its huge 6.88-inch HD+ display and 120Hz refresh rate. At its brightest, it is 600 nits. Additionally, the display has eye protection technology. It has flicker-free technology, TUV Ciraadian, and Low Blue Light.

The Redmi A4 5G is the first smartphone with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 CPU for under Rs 10,000. In this market, it is the sole 4nm Snapdragon processor. With two Cortex-A78 cores operating at up to 2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores operating at up to 1.8GHz, this octa-core processor is based on Samsung’s 4nm architecture. It has a strong performance base and is compatible with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. With an out-of-the-box Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14, the device boasts the finest user interface in its segment and promises two years of Android updates and four years of security patches.
Camera: The phone’s primary camera has 50 megapixels. AI features are integrated into the dual-camera system. Time-lapse, portrait mode, 10x zoom, film camera, and other features are all included in the camera. It has a 5-megapixel front camera for taking selfies and making video calls.
Battery: The Redmi A4 5G’s 5,160mAh battery is expected to last the entire day. Furthermore, it supports 18W fast charging. The 33W charger, which costs Rs 1,999, will be delivered in its original packaging.
