Actor Manoj Mishra and Ollywood filmmaker Bobby Islam’s feud took a turn for the worst today when the former accused the latter of attempting to assault him at the DCP office in Bhubaneswar.

Bhubaneswar: Today, Bobby Islam, the director of Ollywood, accused actor Manoj Mishra of attempting to assault him at the DCP office in Bhubaneswar, intensifying the feud between the two.

The incident happened when Mishra and a number of Ollywood filmmakers arrived to the DCP office after being summoned by the police to address the matter.

However, a fierce argument between Mishra and Bobby broke out close to the office, causing great drama.

A police officer was shown attempting to restrain and calm the actor as Mishra approached Bobby violently.

“In front of the Chandrasekharpur police station IIC, Manoj attempted to assault me. Even if he eventually expressed regret, I still feel unsafe and scared. “I’ll go to the Saheed Nagar police station and complain about this,” Bobby replied.

Jyoti Das, the director of Ollywood, who had also visited the DCP office, stated: “Manoj Mishra has been purposefully criticising my movie and other Odia films. He attempted to assault me in front of police today.

“I was confronted by Bobby Islam with offensive statements as I was entering the DCP office. Being an actor, it was easy to see my aggression on video as I ran at him. I didn’t mean to assault him. “I’m sorry,” Mishra said.

Bobby and Mishra have both complained about one another, claiming that the other has threatened to attack them. Two distinct cases have been filed in response to the complaints. We have advised the two to avoid uttering disparaging statements about one another,” stated Pinak Mishra, DCP of Bhubaneswar.

Interestingly, Mishra has been criticising an upcoming Odia film called “Randi Pua Ananta,” claiming that the title is offensive and derogatory.
