Movie Name : Mechanic Rocky has been released. Gangs of Godavari, Vishwak Sen’s final movie, was a huge box office failure. His latest movie, Mechanic Rocky, features important roles for Meenakshi Chaudhary, Shraddha Srinath, and Sunil. The movie, which was directed by Ravi Teja Mullapudi, came out today. Let’s observe the situation.
Rocky Mechanic Story
Together with his father (Naresh), mechanic Rocky (Vishwak Sen) runs a driving school. One day, Sunil, a local don, assaults him and attempts to take his land. In order to rescue his driving school, Rocky implores the don to grant him some time to gather ₹40 lakhs. Rocky discovers that his father has an insurance policy worth ₹2 crores when his father dies during this time. Excited, he goes to Maya (Shraddha Srinath), a bank officer, who tells him that Rocky is not the nominee in his father’s will but rather someone else. Who is this new individual? What is the insurance policy’s true history? In this arrangement, where does Meenakshi Chaudhary fit in? Did Rocky manage to salvage his father’s priceless shed?
Pros:
Both Vishwak Sen and Mechanic Rocky are renowned for picking quality stories. Despite the trailer’s conventional and commercial appearance, the real conflict point is portrayed in an amusing way in the second half. Director Ravi Teja deserves praise for telling the story of the second half in a way that was both captivating and densely packed. You will be captivated till the very end by the amazing thrills that are displayed in the second half.
Meenakshi Chaudhary does well in the movie and is given a good role. She does a fantastic job portraying the girl next door, which enhances the first half. Mechanic Rocky’s main feature is Shraddha Srinath, who dazzles with her performance. Her talent is evident in her well-executed metamorphosis, and her casting is impeccable.
The renown of MTV Roadies Raghu makes his presence known and does a good job playing the bad cop. While Viva Harsh gives a passable performance, Harshvardhan is also tidy in his portrayal. In the early half, Naresh has a few strong scenes that make for passable comedy.
Finally, Vishwak Sen does a fantastic job in the movie and is ideal for mass roles like this. He gives a powerful performance, and his mass image fits the role perfectly. His skill as a young star is further cemented by his exceptionally strong performance during the tense and defenceless times.
Cons:
The film’s duration is one of its main problems. It’s difficult, especially in the first half, because Mechanic Rocky runs for 156 minutes. Nearly 10 minutes must be reduced, and a song must be taken out right away. The comedy feels stale, and the proceedings lack fire, so the first half gets off to a pretty dreary start. Only in the latter twenty minutes of the first half does the narrated love tale and flashbacks become more interesting.
Vishwak Sen and the heroine’s brother are shown to have a close friendship, although their emotional bond is shallow. The alleged bonding scenes are ineffective. A couple sequences in the first half could have been cut by director Ravi Teja.
Sunil’s arrival, Naresh’s humour, and the flashback sequences with Meenakshi don’t have the necessary impact. The final product would have been much better if the screenplay had been handled more skilfully.
Overall a Decent Thriller
Mechanic Rocky is a respectable thriller with a compelling second half overall. Until the very end, the twists and turns keep you interested. However, you must overlook the boring first half in order to appreciate this section. The Vishwak Sen movie turns out to be a good weekend viewing experience if you can accomplish this.
