Park Min Jae – Life and Career
Having appeared in a number of popular series, including Tomorrow, Little Women, Call It Love, The Korea-Khitan War, Mr. LEE, and Bo-ra! Deborah, the 32-year-old was regarded as a “rising star” in the Korean film business.
This came just a few weeks after Song Jae-lim, another South Korean actor, was discovered dead in his Seoul residence. A message was discovered at his flat in mid-November, according to police sources, and an investigation is still ongoing. A friend who had been by to have lunch with the star discovered the 39-year-old. No evidence of foul play was found.
Song debuted in the 2009 motion picture “Actresses.” Playing a royal guard in the 2012 television smash “Moon Embracing the Sun,” a fantasy drama about the romance between a female shaman and a mediaeval Korean king, catapulted him to popularity. A supporting role in this year’s streaming drama “Queen Woo,” another fantasy drama involving deadly power struggles among royals in an ancient kingdom, and her appearance in the 2014 celebrity reality show “We Got Married” are also noteworthy.
