Comedian Sunil Pal goes missing – Wife files Police complaint

Sunil Pal, the comedian, has been absent for a few hours. According to India Today, Sarita Pal, the comedian’s wife, reported him missing on Tuesday at the Santacruz Police Station. After his wife repeatedly tried to reach him on his phone, the comic would not answer.

Sunil Pal had flown outside of Mumbai to perform for a show, the newspaper noted. Additionally, the comedian had told his wife that he would be coming home on Tuesday, December 3. However, he never came back, and despite repeated attempts to reach him, no responses were received. At the Santacruz Police Station, his wife has now lodged a missing persons case.

After competing in and winning The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2005, Sunil Pal became well-known. He later starred in minor supporting roles in films such as Phir Hera Pheri (2006) and Hum Tum (2004).
