BEAS: With immediate effect, Jasdeep Singh Gill, 45, has been nominated by Gurinder Singh Dhillon to take over as patron and “sant satguru” of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas Society.

The Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB), a spiritual organisation with its headquarters on the banks of the Beas river near Amritsar, made a significant announcement on Monday: its head, Gurinder Singh Dhillon, has nominated Jasdeep Singh Gill, 45, an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi alumnus and doctorate holder in chemical engineering from Cambridge, as its patron and “sant satguru.”

“Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon has nominated Jasdeep Singh Gill, son of Sukhdev Singh Gill, as patron of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas Society with immediate effect from September 2, 2024,” said a statement from RSSB secretary Devender Kumar Sikri.

“Jasdeep Singh Gill will also succeed Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon as the Sant Satguru of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas Society. He will have the authority to give initiation (naam),” Sikri stated. “Baba Ji has expressed that he has wished and requested that the same love and affection be given to Jasdeep Singh Gill in carrying out his “sewa (service)” as patron and sang satguru. It should be just as he has received full support and affection from the’sangat’ following Huzur Maharaj ji.”

Under the guidance of a live spiritual leader, the group is directed by the core spiritual principles of the majority of religions.

After serving as Cipla Limited’s chief strategy officer and senior management employee from 2019 to May 31, 2024, Jasdeep Singh Gill announced his resignation. In addition to having a strong educational background, Gill is well-known in the Indian healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. In the industry, he has had a number of important roles. At Cipla Limited, he currently serves as chief strategy officer. Cipla Ltd. is a multinational pharmaceutical firm based in Mumbai, India.

He is well-known in the pharmaceutical industry due to the combination of his academic achievements and corporate experience.
