Sana Khan made the decision to give up the glitter and glamour of show business and go on a spiritual journey. She conversed openly with Rubina Dilaik on a recent episode of the YouTube podcast Kisine Bataya Nahi. The topic of conversation covered her decision to leave the entertainment industry, her spiritual development, her newfound role as a mother to a baby boy, and the heartwarming origin of his name, Tariq Jamil.
Sana Khan began the podcast by thanking Rubina Dilaik on her twin delivery. She also mentioned that she had whined to God because she had wished for twins as well. She added, “I was like, ‘Allah, why didn’t you give me twins?'” Maine bola Allah aapne mujhe twins kyu nahi diya. She did, however, later disclose that she came to the realisation that God’s designs are superior than ours after learning how challenging it is to raise a single child.

Rubina Dilaik questioned Sana Khan on naming her son Tariq Jamil during the podcast. Sana told a touching tale about her admiration for Tariq Jamil, a Muslim scholar. She said that she used to listen to Jamil’s sermons and loved and respected his outlook on life and demeanour before deciding to transition and leave show business.
The Bigg Boss 6 contestant continued by saying that she learnt many years ago (before to their marriage) that her current spouse Anas had a connection to Tariq Jamil and asked him to arrange for her to meet her hero. When Anas brought Mr. Jamil and Sana together, the latter was deeply moved by his modesty and manner of living. She disclosed that although though he was a well-known Muslim scholar, he didn’t denigrate her or have any preconceived ideas about her. She said, “He rather asked me about what’s happening in my industry, which left me in disbelief.”
Sana Khan further disclosed that she was asked to marry Mufti Anas by Mr. Tariq Jamil. That’s why she gave birth to a child and called him Tariq Jamil. Sana went on to say that she named her son after the well-known Muslim thinker and hoped he would inherit all of his virtues.
Sana Khan also talked about the ongoing pressure she faces to be a good mother. She went on to say she was aware her son would grow up surrounded by a large number of people. When her child makes a mistake, she declared she would never want to be there for him.
Sana Khan talked about the initial event that made her want to marry Anas. She told a story about being in a car with Anas and how there was absolute quiet. She was dying to hear music, but Anas mentioned Junaid Jamshed, another departed Muslim philosopher. Anas prayed for Jamshed and desired that he be given a higher place in heaven as they were talking about him.
This got Sana to wondering who would offer prayers and well wishes for her, just as Anas had done for Jamshed. She replied, “Mere zehan mey koi bhi nahi aaya (I couldn’t zero upon any of my friends).” She went on to say that at that point, she realised how important it was to surround herself with good-hearted people like Anas, and she thought about Tariq Jamil’s proposal to marry Sana two years prior.
