Devara Part 1 Box Office Massive Rs 140 Crore Opening projected for Jr. NTR Film
Devara Part 1, Koratala Siva’s pan-Indian debut, debuted on screens on Friday. The movie, which features Telugu superstar Jr. NTR in a solo role for the first time, has garnered tremendous advance bookings in India and abroad. Trade analysts now predict that the movie will surpass many of India’s biggest hits from the past few years and easily cross the ₹100-crore threshold on its first day of release.
Devara Part 1 saw advance booking sales of ₹75 crore worldwide, one of the most for any Indian film ever, according to trade tracker Sacnilk. As a result, the movie is expected to have a record-breaking opening day. According to early estimates, the movie would gross between ₹85 and ₹95 crore domestically, with a whopping ₹70 crore coming from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh alone. The movie is predicted to earn over $5 million (₹40–45 crore) internationally. Based on conservative projections, Devara has the potential to generate ₹125 crore globally on its first day of release. More conservative approximations place the amount at ₹140 crore.
