PM Kisan Eligibility Criteria

Who is Excluded from PM Kisan?
- No institutional land owner can apply under this plan.
- This program is not available to government personnel who are currently employed or retired.
- A farmer is not eligible if he pays income taxes.
- Members of the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, both current and past, are not eligible to apply. This implies that a farmer is ineligible to apply if they currently hold any constitutional positions.
- This system is not available to professionals who are established in their field, such as doctors, engineers, chartered accountants, advocates, and architects.
- A person or his family getting a pension equal to or greater than Rs.10000 after retirement cannot apply for this scheme.
