The simplicity of Sudha and Narayan Murthy is well-known. According to reports, the chairman of Infosys has a net worth of over Rs 36,000, while his wife, who has a net worth of Rs 700 crore, hasn’t purchased a new saree in 30 years.
During their appearance on Netflix’s “The Great Indian Kapil Show,” Sudha and Narayana Murthy revealed some personal details regarding their husband’s first encounter with her father.
“He was two hours late to meet my father for the first time because his taxi broke down,” Murty added. In addition to other queries, my father wanted to know what he does. And he came to tell him that he wanted to start an orphanage and become involved in politics.
“My father always thought I was a prize because not many women did engineering at that time,” she continued. Additionally, he arrived late in the hopes of impressing my father.
Additionally, Murthy stated, “I was a little playful at the time. “All right, let him be angry,” I said. I had a little bit of an adventurous streak.
Sudha Murthy’s First Job
She also remembered the last time she visited Tata Motors, where she began working for the first time. “I went to Pune Telco, which is now Tata Motors, last month,” Sudha Murthy remarked. “I got there after forty to fifty years. I saw three hundred girls at work. I began to cry when I watched this.
On celluloid, she revealed something fascinating about her childhood hero: “Dilip Kumar, sir, was my hero when I was younger. He was really amazing. She went on to say, “Shah Rukh Khan is the next person who can act with that type of emotion after Dilip Kumar. When I saw “Veer-Zara,” I told my daughter Akshata that Dilip Kumar would have performed it if he had been younger. Shah Rukh Khan has now assumed that role, and only he is capable of acting in it.
