Ukraine-Russia War Live: Kyiv’s top spy agency said Wednesday that Russia had launched “a massive information-psychological attack” against Ukraine by spreading a false warning about an impending mass air attack that was allegedly from Ukrainian military intelligence. “This message is a fake, it contains grammatical errors typical of Russian information and psychological operations,” the Main Directorate of Intelligence stated, according to Reuters.

The United States just announced that it would temporarily close its mission in Kyiv following the revelation of “specific information of a potential significant air attack” today. “The US Embassy advises US citizens to be ready to seek shelter immediately in the event of an air alert,” the embassy went on to say.

The Biden administration has now authorised the supply of anti-personnel landmines to Ukraine, just days after US President Joe Biden declared that the US is permitting Ukraine to fire its armaments in Russia.
